HOW LONG A TEST RESULT REMAINS VALID?
A Test Result Form is valid for TWO Years from the Date you appeared in Test.
Like if you appeared on 1st December 2007, then you can use the same result till 30th November 2009. After which you will have to re-appear in IELTS.
